Minutes of Thursday April 12, 2007

Minutes are presented in agenda order and not necessarily as they were discussed. Tapes of the meeting will be retained for a period of one year, after which they will be erased.

MINUTES OF PAST MEETING:

Sue Schmidt moved to accept the minutes of March 8, 2007. Max Henrie seconded the motion; vote unanimous. The motion carried.

FINANCIAL REPORT: Max Henrie one member has paid for power hook up fee. Total golf course income this year $5198, last year $0. We are in good shape cash wise, we need to pay for electrical line connection and ADA improvements. Golf course assessment is at $260.

ITEMS OF BUSINESS:

SSD we are still installing pipes in A section to replace pipes that froze.

Joe Hanks: golf course committee and Joe have come up with a list of rules for members living on golf course. Ted will review with architectural committee

Joe wants to make George a grounds employee directly under him.

Youngberg wants a couples golf pass for donating a refrigerator, free lessons and electrical work. He need to put proposal in writing and submit to BOT.

Is there a limit on how many gate openers allowed per lot?

Max Henrie: meeting between SSD, SMR and attorneys. Main issues brought up 1. Preserving water rights. In 2009 we will need to prove water. 2. Review financing of water system. In a letter from Craig Smith, SSD attorney, he stated. "It is the position of The State of Utah that unless the water right is held by a governmental entity that a proof for Municipal Use will not be accepted." Conditions to consider before giving rights to SSD. 1. Keep water rights for SMR only. 2. Water rights revert to SMR if anything happens to SSD. 3. No use of water rights as collateral for loan unless approved by SMR BOT and SMR members.. Roger and Max are working on a proposed agreement.

Bonino issue - their proposal is not acceptable. Max will send them a letter.

Electrical connection fees will be $1750. We will collect fees and then pay Sanpete county the $250 connection fee. Sanpete county charges a $1073 impact fee.

Max Henrie moved to put power on Davis Ridge based on $12,000 bid. Sue Schmidt seconded the motion; vote unanimous. The motion carried.

Monte Pugmire wanted a way to identify members at pool and golf course. A list will be provided with lot number and member name.

ADA - no progress

Ted Barbee: Monte proposed a pay raise for grounds employees.

Ted Barbee moved to approve Montes proposal to give a 1% raise and golf pass to grounds employees. A 3% raise to golf shack employees. Sue Schmidt seconded the motion; vote unanimous. The motion carried.

Sue Schmidt moved to adjourn the meeting. Ted Barbee seconded the motion; vote unanimous. The meeting was adjourned.
