Minutes of the Work Meeting held Nov. 29th, 2006
at the Rocky Mountain Power Building, American Fork, UT.

Meeting called to order at 6:40 p.m.

  1. Electric Heater for the well house.  Montes to have our electrician install.
  2. Steve Page trench requirements:  Widen by 24” and level out the bottom because of variable depth.  Use double locator tape over water and electrical.  Put in a tracer wire on each installation.  Place water pipe in ground leaving 6” on the east side for sand fill.  Place the electrical conduit in such a way that 4” on the west side can be sand filled.  Must have back fill of sand to a depth of 12” over the installed water main.  He will not have to install a fire hydrant.  We will pay for the materials for a blow off valve to be installed by his contractor.  We will assist in locating the proper placement by measuring from the existing hubs.  All work to be done by a licensed contractor.  Monte to send him a letter detailing these requirements.  If he agrees and complies he will receive his water connection approval.
  3. We reviewed a draft of a road break permit.  We will table this until we have our design standards in place and then these will be combined.
  4. We did a complete review of the Design Standards and edits were made.  Our goal is to have these OK’d and agreed to by SMR Board and Sanpete County by March 2007
  5. The 2007 proposed budget was reviewed and approved it for posting in preparation for the Annual Budget hearing to be held in Dec.
  6. Hansen, Allen and Luce letter on water ideas.  HAL gave a rough estimate of drilling a well at site 9 with all costs at $175,000.  We will get some additional cost estimates.  We want to set a goal to go ahead with the Water Master Plan by beginning of 2007.  We have studied enough and we need to get it going.  Roger reviewed the new proposal from HAL, which includes area 3 (Birch Creek).  We would like to have a work meeting as soon as possible with Gordon Miner of HAL present as soon as possible.  We will try for Dec 7th if possible.  Meeting place to be here at the power building.
  7. We need to communicate with Milt Baker and have him re-do the Birch Creek road where he has messed it up before we do the MgCl treatment in May.

Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

M LaMonte Pugmire, sec-clerk
