Skyline Mountain Special Services District
2201 Skyline Mountain Resort
Fairview, UT 84629

Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees OCT 21st, 2006 held at the Skyline Mountain Resort Clubhouse.

Meeting called to order by Chairman, Roger Mace at 6:09 p.m

Present were Roger Mace and George Scarlet.  R.J. Slater arrived at 6:35 p.m.  Monte Pugmire had previously asked to be excused.  Jay Hansen was also excused.

Members of the District present:
Steve Page, B54; Steve Anderson GC 17; Gene Dudley B13; Orson Stilson B66-67.

  1. Mr. Page brought a request for water hook up for GC17 on which he is building a new home.
  2. Mr. Anderson also requested a water hook up for Lot B55 for his R/V pad.
  3. Thad’s Peak:  The tank was drained last Tuesday.  We will want a heat tape put on next spring so water can be provided for a longer season.
  4. The Thad’s Peak well test is set up.  It will begin Oct 22nd and run for two weeks to determine the ability we may have to put in a larger pump and motor on the well so that it could be a potential water supply for area 2 and 3.
  5. The Johansen Asphalt hot mix plant is still operating.  We are trying to get the big patches done around the east gate/Birch Creek Road area that were missed in the spring.
  6. We need to set a 2007 budget meeting.
  7. Several requests have been made to either move the east gate card reader further south to a more level spot or to raise the road near the reader to make winter access safer for vehicles towing or not who have to stop and apply their gate cards to open the gate.  This appears to be an issue for SMR.
  8. A letter was read about the condition of Mt. Springs Drive.  Trenching for the power has been completed and backfilled.  20 loads of road base are scheduled for this road.  We need to let the trenches settle before the road base is put down.
  9. Deer Valley Drive cutback needs to be looked at this next spring for a better configuration.
  10. R.J said that a Mrs. Burg (D16) has been sending her dues to the SSD instead of to SMR.
  11. Papers for the “Utility & Road Digging Permit Agreement” will be passed out for discussion at the next meeting.

Next two meetings will be Nov 18th and Dec 16th.

Meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.

Record kept for the Sec-clerk by George Scarlet.
